There are almost 500,000 words in the dictionary but the words that matter to us are the ones that we carry in our minds and hearts.

Losing someone to suicide often leaves us searching for answers, staring at blank pages, searching for the right words whilst trying to navigate this difficult loss alone. However finding the right words can be hard and it takes courage and strength to share your story.

At Suicide&Co we are advocates for the power of shared experience. We want to provide you with a safe space to share stories and find comfort in reading the experience of others.

Through encouraging the writing and sharing of letters to those who we’ve lost, we hope to help our community, and remind you that you always have company. Expressing your feelings can make all the difference when going through suicide-related bereavement.

This is a collection of over 100 letters that people have written
to their loved ones.

You can navigate the collection by their relationship to the loved one as well as time since bereavement. 

It’s important to note people are at different points in their grief journey when they wrote these letters and every experience is personal and valid.
